We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Auckland Postgraduate Conference on Linguistics and Applied Linguistics will be held on 30 June 2012 at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Organised by postgraduate students from the Department of Applied Language Studies and Linguistics (DALSL) at the University of Auckland, the conference brings together postgraduate students interested in the study of language and offers an intellectually stimulating and friendly platform for the exchange of ideas.
We warmly encourage MA and PhD candidates working on language-related topics to come and share their research and ideas. Last year, we received abstracts from the United Kingdom, Iran, China, Taiwan, Australia, and Switzerland as well as New Zealand.
The deadline for abstract submission this year is 21 April 2012. We will welcome abstracts from a wide range of themes. All abstracts will be assessed anonymously in accordance with best practice. The deadline for early-bird registration is 2 June 2012. We close registration on 16 June 2012.
With generous support from our department the conference is free of fees for all presenters and early bird registrations. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided. Late registrations incur a small catering charge.
Haere mai. Haere Mai. Haere Mai. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome.
